Week 23 - Benchtops In/Tiling in Progress

Monday 27 May 2013: Kitchen/Bathroom Benchtops In

The 20mm Caesarstone Kitchen and Bathroom Benchtops finally went in. They fitted the sink too. They have covered the Kitchen and Pantry benches in cardboard for protection. The Kitchen and Pantry Benchtops are Caesarstone Walnut for Ensuite, Powder and Main Bathroom is Caesarstone Atlantic Salt.

Tuesday 28 May 2013: Tiling in Progress

We turned up at the site today, the tilers were there busily working. There were a team of 3 of them. I managed to get some photos. They have tiled and grouted the floors in the Powder Room, Ensuite and Main Bathroom. We also have the designer floor waste. The wet area tiles are in Ceramic.

Wednesday 30 May 2013: Tiling Continues

The tilers were back again today. The wall tiles are progressing well. The backsplash tiles are done in the Ensuite bar the grouting.

There has been a little bit of anxiety as to how the tiles would look. All the floor tiles have been grouted, but the wall tiles have not. Can't wait to see them completed with the grout.

Thursday 30 May 2013: Laundry Floor Tiled

Today we saw the Laundry floor was tiled and grouted, need a cleanup. We also have the floor waste drain. The tiles are porcelain and these tiles will be laid to entire ground floor except the Rumpus Room.

The tilers continued doing their job today. Hopefully tiling will be completed this week and grouted next week.
