Week 17 - Garage/Alfresco Roof on

Monday 15 Apr 2013: Garage Roof Installed

I noticed some tradies working on the Garage Roof today and they did finish the Garage Roof.

Tuesday 16 Apr 2013: Gutters to the roof of Alfresco on

The Gutters and Fascia went on above the Alfresco and Rumpus Room.

Wednesday 17 Apr 2013: Alfresco Roof Installed

Today, our roof tiles were started on the Alfresco. One thing I'm a little worried about is why they didn't finish the Alfresco roof tiles today. Hope, they will complete the roof tomorrow. 

Thursday 18 Apr 2013: No Action

I was hoping that the Alfresco roof will be completed today, but nothing happened. Not sure why?

Friday 19 Apr 2013: No Action Again

I tried to call the SS today to find out why nothing's happening. But couldn't get hold of him. Finally made it after a few attempts. The SS told me that they are going to redo the Alfresco Roof again on Monday, due to some problem with the roof tiles. Not sure what the problem is. Hope everything goes good.

Week 16 - Downpipes/Gutter to Garage are on

Monday 08 Apr 2013: Downpipes Installed

Our downpipes have been put on today and was expecting to see more work done but nothing happened except the downpipes. The downpipes will be painted in Colorbond Monument color.

Thursday 11 Apr 2013: Garage Gutter on

Today the gutters went up on the garage roof. I guess it won't be long before the roof goes on.

Week 15 - Bricks Cleaned/Eaves on

Tuesday 02 April 2013: Acid Wash

Got a call from SS today that the bricks will be cleaned today.

Drove past the house and noticed that the bricks have been acid washed except the three pillars which will be rendered. The bricks look very good now. I really like the colour of the bricks.

 

 

Wednesday 03 April 2013: Eaves/Portico frames Delivered

The timber for the front portico and the Eaves were delivered and completed today. The house is really looking good with the eaves. The eaves will be painted in Dulux Hog Bristle Half colour.



If we look closer we could see that the front portico frame had been put up along with the eaves.
  

   

Week 14 - Nothing Happening

As per SS, the bricks were to be cleaned this week. Even though the weather was good, nothing happened this week. No reason Why?

 

 

Week 13 - Roof Tiles on

Monday 18 March 2013: Roof Tiles on

Our roof tiles started to go on today. I need not worry anymore. Our house will be protected from rain and wind soon.

We are very happy with the way that the colours look with the rest of the house and can’t wait to see the roof completed.Got a phone call from our SS today, he said the roof would be done this week.

Week 12 - Roof Tiles Delivered

Tuesday 12 March 2013: Roof Tiles Delivered

The roof tiles were delivered today and will see some action this week. We are keen to see the roof get done we can see a roof next week. Bristle Classic Coal is looking good.

Week 11 - Rainy Week

Monday 04 March 2013: Rainy Week

Nothing happend this week as the rain slowed things down this week. 

Still happy with progress of our home.

I think the next stage is roof tiles. Hopefully, will see some action next week.

 

Week 10 - Bricks Completed/Gutter Fascia on

Monday 25 February 2013: First Floor Bricks Completed

This week, it was clear the brickwork is nearing completion except the Garage and Alfresco. The bricklaying is pretty good.  

Have been told that the fascia and gutter and roof will be happening this week.





Thursday 28 February 2013: Gutters and Fascia on

Our Gutters and Fascia were put up today as the rain started to fall and waiting for the roof tiles to be delivered. The Gutter and Fascia will be painted in Colorbond Monument color.
