I have been reading others blogs and decided to make my own blog. I have created this blog to share my experience in building my dream home to help other who are planning on building their future home. This is one of the most stressful things a person can do in their lifetime, as I have discovered over the course of the past few months including buying the land, selecting a builder and house type and then choosing all the components and colours that will eventually come together to make up your final home.
It all started last year in October with an idea to sell the house and buy a house closer to schools and transport. We started visiting open houses and then decided to build our own. We recently sold our first home and have purchased land in Sydney South. It was registered in March 2012. We are renting now until we move in to our dream home.

This is the block of land that we are building on in Prestons, Sydney. Land Size = 642 sq.
We started visiting display homes and as we walked into Metricon's Nolan 45 at the Ponds, we fell in love with the house straight away. Next day I called Metricon Homes to book an appointment with the sales consultant.
We are building Nolan 45 with Plantation facade in Sydney.
